Advice for cleaning boogers with a nose piercing?

This question is super embarring but thank God for yahoo answers lol. I just got my nose pierced two weeks ago and have been having problems with boogers getting stuck to it (im sorry i know its gross!) Any advice on how to clean this problem safely I have been handling it but I think i'm doing more harm than good and I don't want to risk infection!
