I want to sing!! agin!?

ok well...i have sang all my life!...well this guy told me i had the voice he was looking for so i had spent like 3 weeks prac. well i decided to sing a really good song with HIGH notes..well i had been prac. so much that i lost my singin voice...well a now its been about 5 months since the surgary and i want to sing agin..i have not sang a single thing since then!...i really want to try and sing..but im too scared that i wont have the voice i used to have!....HELP me plz!
